For visitors intrigued by New Zealand's farming industry, Agrodome will seem like a wonderland. This 160-hectare (395-acre) working farm is complete with 1200 sheep and 120 cows plus goats, deer and lambs. Attractions include a sheep sheering demonstration, sheep dog herding, hands on cow milking, farm tour with a kiwifruit orchard, wine tasting, freefall skydive simulator, jet-propelled raceboats, zorbing, woolen mill and much much more. After all that, visitors are bound to be hungry. The Farmview Restaurant and the G-Force Cafe provide a large range of meals.

A gigantic sheep made out of corrugated metal houses an even larger collection of handcrafted woollen items from slippers to rugs. While the shop is extensive with many souvenirs, the stop to see the sheep alone is worth it.

This unique attraction has a variety of activities for a fun day out. Start the journey aboard a Gondola reaching 487 metres (1597 feet) above sea level for an amazing panorama of ocean blues and meadow greens. At the top, take part in many of the amusements that include a luge, downhill mountain biking, ride simulator, shooting range, and walking trail. There is also a dining room that offers a stunning 180-degree view.
